Policies

In order for everyone to enjoy this con to the best of their ability (including the staff of the convention and hotel) the following code of conduct will be enforced with all attendees including guests, staff and exhibitors. Any violation of this code of conduct may result in your expulsion from the convention with no refund. Some violations will result in legal or police action.

  • Respect your fellow attendees, exhibitors and staff. Respect the hotel and their staff. We are committed to a safe and fun environment and will not hesitate to act if you are influencing another’s safety or fun.

  • Attendees under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult

  • Conduct that is deemed disorderly or disruptive will not be tolerated.

  • Prop weapons must be peace bonded. Firearm props that could be construed as real must have a blaze orange tip. Real weapons are not tolerated as part of a costume. Any real weapons bought on the dealers floor must be immediately returned to your room or car and may not be removed from the package you bought them in on the con floor.

  • Any costumes that are deemed to influence the flow of traffic may be restricted to certain areas of the convention.

  • Any staff member may ask you to inspect any prop or costume piece at any time or remove any offending items.

  • Respect the other guests of the hotel. This includes keeping noise to a reasonable level in your rooms.

  • Cosplay must be kept tasteful. Nudity is not a cosplay.

  • Signs must be kept appropriate.

  • Fighting, sparring and other such behavior is limited to areas specified for such behavior and prohibited elsewhere.

  • Sales conducted by anyone other than those who have entered into an agreement with Fandom Legacy Convention to do so are prohibited.

  • Breaking any law including theft, vandalism, fraud and destruction of property will result in permanent expulsion form the convention and being turned over to the police.

  • No panhandling or begging.

  • It is illegal to consume alcohol below the legal age.

  • Be courteous to panelists. Keep distractions during panels and events to a minimum.

  • Some events will be age restricted and require a government issued ID to attend. No exceptions will be made.

  • Personal hygiene must be maintained.

  • Any type of harassment will result in banning.

  • Badges must be worn visibly at all times.

  • Fandom Legacy convention is not responsible for your items or their theft. You are. Likewise we are not responsible for any injuries you sustain at the convention.

  • Events, panels, guests and times are subject to change.

  • We reserve the right to remove you from the convention for a poor attitude.

  • Do not sleep in public areas.
